Cheque Book Issuance Charges

a) Savings Bank :
In SB Accounts of individuals – 40 leaves will be free in a financial year. Free supply of cheque books in a SB a/c will be on pro-rata basis, i.e. 20 cheque leaves for -6- months and/or part thereof. )
Subsequent cheque book @ Rs. 2.50 per leaf for MICR/NON MICR Cheque books.

b) CA/CC/OD:

1. The above charges to be credited to P/L incidental charges.

2. Charges to be recovered for both inward and outward clearing, including inter Br. Clg.

3. For transfer cheques received at the branch, charges to be recovered from the drawer of the cheque.

4. In respect of inward clearing cheques returned unpaid due to financial reasons, Brs. should also recover Intt. at BPLR+3% p.a. for the period the bank was out of funds.  The intt. is to be credited to P/L Intt. Received a/c (others)

5. No charges to be recovered in case of outward return of cheques on account of stop payment instructions.

6. Branch Manager can double the said charges in cases where the incidence of cheque return is high/ recurrence frequently.

7. Charges for entries(Dr.) received through ECS and not responded – Rs. 75/- per entry.

b) Processing charges for giving agreement in principal in respect of advances account.

Full Processing Fee as per existing schedule of  charges + an additional fee of Rs. 2.00 lacs to be collected in respect of term loan applications where the amount of loan is over Rs. 1 crore (no separate additional fee need to be collected where only working capital facility are applied for)
The aforesaid will also be subject to the proviso that –
a) In case for any reason the final proposal is not sanctioned 50% of the fee collected (i.e. processing fee and additional fee) will be refunded.
b) In case the final proposal is sanctioned and the borrower avails the facility the advance fee collected will be adjusted /refunded against the total fee chargeable as per the extant guidelines.

Additional Service Charges @ 10.30% on the additional fee of Rs. 2.00 Lacs.

 

(C) Commitment Charges -
Commitment charges are levied in case of non utilization/ under utilization of working capital limits for
advance account with fund based working capital limits of Rs. 100 lacs (One crore)
and above

  1. Charges are to be levied on sanctioned amount.
  2. No processing charges for non fund advances (except DPG & DA L/C) and advances against our own deposits.  Advance under Bills rediscounting scheme are treated as Fund Based limit.
  3. In case of Agricultural Advances, processing charges are to be recovered on all fresh sanctions and renewals. No processing charges in case of Govt. sponsored schemes and Direct Agricultural advances up to Rs. 2/- lacs.
  4. Advances under consortium : Processing charges to be levied as per consortium agreement.
  5. Loan against Government Securities UTI/Mutual Fund Units, NSCs, KVPs – Rs. 110/- flat charges.  In addition to flat charges out of pocket expenses & actual conveyance should also be recovered.
  6. Processing charges / documentation charges in respect of housing loans –  to be levied as per scheme advised from time to time / if not contained in the scheme then to be charged as mentioned above.
  7. Processing charges / documentation charges for educational loans, Loans are to be recovered as per the charges specified in the respective schemes.
  8. Processing charges are on per annum basis, i.e. if a proposal is reviewed after six months from the due date for a further period of 12 months, processing charges are to be levied for 18 months.
  9. 50% of the processing charges (non refundable) to be recovered in advance in new accounts.
  10. For allowing drawings against un cleared effects (Adhoc) – a charge of Rs. 25/- per lac or part thereof with min. of Rs. 25 and Max. of Rs. 500/- be levied.
  11. No processing charges for fund based or non fund based facilities for staff members.

Concessions in Guarantee commission :

i) Secured by 100% Cash margin or Term Deposits –

25% of the amount of the normal commission plus out of pocket expenses to be charged.
Actual out of pocket expenses subject to minimum of Rs. 147/- to be recovered.
ii) for individual transaction for over  Rs. 1 Crore :
Rs. 1 Crore to Rs. 10 Crore – 50% concession
Above Rs. 10 crores            –  70% concession

Waiver of collection charges for physically challenged persons (who have suffered loss of use of hand/hands & or leg/legs) including blind person for instruments up to Rs.10,000/- at par collection.

Staff Members

- Staff Members
- Ex-Staff Members
- Joint Accounts of staff members with close relatives (Same Rules as for deposit A/Cs.)
i) No service charges for various transactions, unless otherwise specified to the contrary.
Conditions for Ex-staff Members:
a) He/she should be able to establish his/her identity as an ex-staff member of our Bank.
b) He/she should not be gainfully employed.
c) Over and above this, if an Ex-Staff member of another Public Sector Bank, the said Bank should not have a branch
at that place.

Concessions provided by Sponsor Bank i.e. Bank of Baroda to our Bank

1. Collection charges on a 50:50 basis for :
a) Cheques drawn on Public Sector banks and tendered to BOB for collection by us and on instrument tendered by Public Sector Banks to us for collection.
b) Free Remittance facility for transfer of funds to us for remitting refinance installments to NABARD.
c) Free remittance facility for transfer of funds between the Head Office and our Branches and also between Regional Offices and our Branches.
2. No exchange should be charged on DDS purchased by our Bank on behalf of their customers provided Branches levy full charges from their customers at rates not below specified rates of Bank of Baroda.
