• The above revised rates shall be applicable on all domestic term deposit accounts opened or renewed on or after 17.09.2012.
• The additional incentive given on rate of interest to Senior Citizens shall continue at existing rate i.e. 0.50%.
• The above rates will be compounded on quarterly rest for the deposits held for the period 181 days & above.
• Tax at source be deducted as per norms applicable.
• Above rates are applicable to deposits below Rs. 1 crore. For deposits Rs. 1 crore & above rate shall be quoted by Head Office on case to case basis. Branches are, therefore, advised to contact their Regional Office for term deposits of Rs. 1 crore and above for quoting rate of interest who will in turn take the quotes from Head Office.
